Tavares Pavilion Breaking Shore!

Tavares is greaking ground, or I should say "Breaking Shore" once again!

As part of the City of Tavares master plan to grow the downtown waterfront entertainment district,
the new Tavares Pavilion will be an 8000 SF facility that will have meeting rooms, a catering kitchen and two banquet rooms.

A replica of the 1914 city pavilion that stood at the lakefront until 1961, the new Tavares Pavilion will sit at the end of a 150ft pier extending over Lake Dora in Wooton Park.

Be a part of history and join the City of Tavares for the “Breaking of the Shore” Celebration on Thursday, Sept. 6, 2012, 10:00AM on Lake Dora in Wooton Park at the end of Disston Park as construction begins on Tavare's latest addition to the downtown waterfront entertainment district.
